Picking out an outfit for the first day of school is probably one of the most important yet scariest thing for any female. Having an awesome first day ensemble helps you to make that great first impression, and well, first impressions do matter. Right? Have no fear though, I'm here to help you out. I've created two outfits that will definitely have you looking great and getting an A+ for your awesome style. The key however is to select something you are comfortable in and that fits your personality. Be sure to look out for part 2 with more outfits over the weekend.

First Day of School Outfit : Part 1

The first look I chose was this denim button down shirt paired with mustard skinnies. This is for the girl who wants something fun (coloured skinnies), but still wants that laid-back feel (denim shirt). Slip into a lovely pair of leopard loafers that are super comfortable enough to walk around in on campus. If you do wear heels on campus, a pair of leopard print wedges or pumps will work just fine. Go for a nude lipstick or even clear gloss, add a gold wrap watch (you can even wear a gold watch along with some gold bracelets. Have an arm party!), and a brown purse to complete your look! I'm actually considering this look for my first day of my 2nd year of university, since as I have similar pieces that I can style. I want to try something new since as I have always stayed away from coloured denim.

First Day of School Outfit : Part 2

The second look I went for includes a belted coral maxi skirt paired with a plain white tank top. This creates a great mixture of casual and chic. For college girls, a white tank top is a must-have in your closet because you can dress it up or down for whatever occasion. I added a mint satchel and a pair of embroidered sandals that had a hint of mint in the design to kind of pull the outfit together. As for accessories, I kept it simple with a gold necklace and a gold two row ring since as maxi skirts already make a statement.
