Skirt: c/o Blue Vanilla | Pumps: Charlotte Russe (similar) | Cuff Bracelet: Style Savvy

In my teenage years, I hated any item of clothing that was way too long. I hated maxi dresses, and just about anything that hit the knee or went below it. Let's just say, shorts were my ultimate best friend. Even worse, florals were never a part of my closet. I always thought it was a print geared towards older people, and to be frank, just plain ugly. However, as I hit my 20's, I found myself more drawn towards longer pieces, and strange enough, floral print.

I was sent this skirt from Blue Vanilla which has the perfect combination of length and this cute floral print design. They have many similar ones like the one above in different prints etc. on their site which I know you will love, if that's your style. I'm not extremely fussy about the quality of a product, but the quality of this product is SUPER! The floral skirt was well made, and the material is very thick yet comfortable - so I can just imagine the quality of the other products they have available.

Originally I had planned to pair this with a black top, but instead I played off the green in the print with this top, and opted for these very simple black ankle strap pumps. Of course I'm wearing my favourite cuff bracelet, a pair of simple gold earrings, and threw in some thin rings I purchased recently. I opted for very minimal accessories because I wanted the skirt to be the main focus of the outfit. My wardrobe was surely revived with this fresh floral skirt for spring, and having one in different floral prints will definitely be on my list of spring essentials from now on.
