My best friend Shelly-Ann shot this outfit for me about 2 weeks ago, so it's finally time I posted it to the blog. Even though the summer season is all gone, it's always hot here in Jamaica, so summer fashion is well accepted all year round.

Wide-leg pants were a big hit this summer, but it was never really my thing, mainly because it's always impossible to find one that fits me in length. I'm 5'4", so they're always ridiculously long, even with high heels. This pair however was the perfect length I've ever come across, ever. No need to hem and go through a long process to get it to really fit. I also love how lightweight and comfortable these pants are, making them perfect for the warm weather.
Simplicity was key in terms of styling. I knew I wanted it to be something that would look great for a casual but stylish night out, or to brunch with your girls, so I quickly grabbed this white off the shoulder top and went with flat sandals for some added comfort. It's ok to ditch the heels sometimes. I've featured this clutch in a previous post, and it was really the item that gave me some inspiration for accessorizing the outfit. The clutch has this metal bar detailing, and I had a gold metal faced belt hanging around for a while now, so the two went perfect together. My best friend had this gorgeous cut-out cuff bracelet that I borrowed, as well as this pair of gold triangle hoop earrings to finish it off.
