So the 'day of love', Valentine's Day, visits us tomorrow, February 14. Just like any other occasion, I know many ladies who will be spending some quality time with their significant other, or my single ladies who will be hanging out with their friends (apparently the term is Galentine's Day?), are still undecided as it relates to the perfect outfit for whatever plans you have. I may have not blogged in a while, and this post might be hella late, but I just wanted to give some inspiration with some very simple pieces that you may just have hanging around. Depending on the plans you have, I've created 3 simple, but still very chic outfits, whether it be for a nice dinner, a movie date/hanging with your girlfriends, and of course, for my ladies who would rather stay in and just keep it low-key.

Dinner Date

Exactly what is Valentine's Day without the ever popular red outfits gracing the streets and every single restaurant? Yes, red is still a popular choice among ladies, and is the perfect colour for the occasion once done right.  That means no red dress, plus red pumps, plus a red bag, plus red hair. One statement piece works just fine. This red scuba bardot skater dress is playful, and is the ultimate showstopper for the night. Pair with black pointed toe pumps, a grey snake box clutch, and teardrop earrings. Finish off with a red lip and add some volume and length to your lashes with a little mascara.

Dress: River Island | Earrings: Lord & Taylor| Clutch: Shoeaholics | Heels: Kendall + Kylie | Mascara: Bobbi Brown | Lipstick: Dior

Movie Date/Hanging Out With The Girls

This look is a lot more casual and is perfect for a movie date, or some Galentine's Day time. This blush top is romantic without being overly Valentine's Day themed. A pair of ripped knee denims adds some well needed edge, and these flats are super comfortable but dressy enough in case you stop somewhere to grab a bite. Add a nude and gold shoulder bag and gold accessories to create a very chic and fashionable look.

Top: Topshop | Jeans: Topshop | Purse: New Look | Necklace: GoJane | Flats: GoJane

Chill Time At Home

For my ladies who would rather stay in to celebrate, this outfit is a lot more laid-back. A comfy sweater dress and slipper socks is perfect for cooking a meal together at home, cuddling, and watching a movie. A lacy set of lingerie underneath is a sexy surprise. It doesn't get much better than that!
