If you're a regular reader of my blog, or if you follow me on social media, you may have noticed my absence for the past couple of weeks, or much longer. As a matter of fact, for the past 6 months or so, I have barely posted on my blog, and you've probably forgotten how I look due to my lack of Instagram photos. It was almost always one post per month, and every single time I thought I would get back to regular programming, it would all go downhill all over again.

One of my goals for this year was to blog more consistently, and create great content for my readers. I came up with so many ideas for blog posts, created a content calendar, but as soon as it got to the whole execution process, I was just completely uninspired. The truth is, sometimes it's hard to maintain the spark and the will to blog, and though I would attempt to throw in a post here and there, I decided maybe it was time for a blogging break. And that I took. It wasn't planned. It just sort of happened.

As a blogger, you are often pressured into thinking that you need to constantly create a million posts in order to have your readers coming back, or have flawless photos to make it in the blogging world. It can get exhausting. My blogging break was a reminder that we're not robots - not just bloggers, but people in general. We won't always have butterflies flying around in our brains filling us up with creative ideas. There will be times when we can't overwork ourselves any longer, and we just need to take a nap. There will be moments when we will be uninspired, and that's fine too. Sometimes we just need some time to really get back on our feet and figure things out.  And, as much as we want to plan our lives, sometimes it has a way of surprising us with unexpected turns and we just have to go with it.

After taking some time to think, refocus, and prioritize, I'm ready to start on this blogging journey again to share with you, fashion, beauty, travel, and life. That's not to say I might not have the blogging blues sooner or later, but at least this time I'll know it's completely natural and not be too hard on myself. If you're having the blogging blues, don't stress it. Take as much time as you need to get it together again, and most importantly, breathe. If your readers really and truly value your blog and you as a person, they will understand and be back when you're ready again.

With that said, thank you for sticking it through with me. I  hope you'll enjoy my posts to come.
